The big TWO

So it was Wade and I's TWO year anniversary on 11-21-11, its amazing how fast time flies but I have loved every second of it! He is such a good husband and an amazing dad! We went to Shogun which is where they cook in front of you it was so fun! And wade's family kindly watched Dax while we went.

Daxton is TWO months old now! I can't believe it! He's getting old too fast!

He had his baby blessing Sunday and he smiled the whole time :) Wade's Parents, Chad, Mary, and cousin Everett were able to come! Daxton loves is grandparents!

He had to go to the doctor yesterday to get his shots. He got weighed and measured-he's in the 95 percentile for his height(now I know why all his clothes are too short on him)! He did not like his shots at all! He screamed so hard he stopped breathing and then passed out once we got to the car but every time he woke up he would start screaming again! They seemed to make him tired because I sat him down on the couch and he just fell asleep which he never does! And it wasn't very comfortable looking, he was sitting on his wipes! haha

Dax's favorite part of the day is bath time! He loves it with all his heart! and he also likes when mommy and daddy sing to him :)

Dax's First Flight

So Daxton and I decided to take a trip to Utah and Idaho to visit family. He did so good! He fell asleep on the way to the airport and only woke up a few times to eat. So he slept a total of 8 hours! Oh and he did wake up to meet Ashley, my best friend from high school. they landed in Dallas the same time I did for my lay over! What are the odds!

In Idaho we were able to go seemy sister in law kristen and her family, Dax loved them especially Grace, his cousin who's about 5 months older, they just layed in the crib together while we ate dinner! It was so cute!

A lot of my friends were able to come visit me at my sister Heather's house, where I stayed, It was fun to be back I missed it a lot there!

Dax had fun meeting his cousins. Several times when he would just cry for me, they would hold him and he would fall asleep! Max is about a year and a half older than Dax but he just loves his cousin, he was always giving him loves and kisses!

My mom made this hat and I thought it was so cute I had to share it!

This is baby Navy, my brother's little girl, she was born 3 days after Dax! We were able to be there for her baby blessing that Sunday! And my whole family got to meet him, except for my dad :(

Also while we were down in Provo, Wade's grandma and uncles were able to come meet him!

We just got back to Arkansas yesterday. Dax wasn't as good as he was the first flight but he definitely could have been worse! It was so good to see Wade again, he thought it was amazing how much a baby could change in two weeks!

And for Halloween he was mommy's little pumpkin!

So while we were in Idaho, Dax got into this routine of not going to bed until midnight, I might add he was extremely fussy until midnight, wake up at 4 then 8, so it wasn't too bad but our first night home he slept from 8 to 1 to 430 to 8 I was so happy! especially so I could sleep then to!

He's getting to big to fast! He's 6 weeks old now! He now weighs 10.2 pounds, still less than what I was when I was born! And he holds his neck up so good now!

Dax is 3 Weeks

Sunday was Dax's first day of church (thankfully he slept the whole time!) and it was his 3 week birthday! I can't believe how fast time has flown. And he looks so much different just within that short time period.

This picture was taken on our balcony, it was windy and bright, he didn't like it very well.

We went to church with Chad (Wade's brother) and Mary to watch their baby boy Everett be blessed. Him and Dax are about 5 weeks apart. Wade's parent's came in town for the blessing as well. Daxton loved them so much, sadly I didn't get any pictures with them on my camera.

And my mom has been able to be here to help for the past three weeks! Which I have loved every second but she leaves tomorrow so my non-cooking, non-cleaning, night sleeping days are over.

Dax is a pretty good sleeper when he wants to be and when he's in his swing and even more so when he is in someone's arms! Last night he slept 6.5 hours straight! but that is very unusual.

Right now he LOVES to have someone plays with his hair, to eat, and to be pushed around in the shopping carts at the stores.

He absolutely HATES being buckled up in his car seat, his bassinet, having a sad tummy, and being bathed but we still love him :)

A Little About Us

-Wade and I met up at BYU-Idaho- We lived at the same apartment complex.

-He’s from Bountiful, Utah; I’m from Aledo, Texas- near Fort Worth.

-He liked my roommates and I wanted little/nothing to do with dating- naturally we fell in love.

-I fell for his sense of humor and his sweet heart- he’d prefer I’d say manliness.

-8 wonderful months after meeting we got engaged. It was perfect :) He flew out to Texas over the summer and surprised me with roses and a candlelit dinner in the woods behind my house!

-He’s very laid back and easy going; I am uptight and like to have everything planned out in detail.

-He is a Financial Economics major and I Nursing.

-He is very outgoing and can be friends with anyone and everyone; I can be outgoing but usually only with people I know really well.

-He likes to fish, golf, and play racquetball. I like to run and take pictures (unprofessionally).

-He has 1 brother and 2 sisters; I have 3 sisters and 1 brother

-We were married in Bountiful, Utah on November 21, 2009.

-I graduated that next April (2010) and he did so the following year in July of 2011.

-He accepted a job offer at Wal-Mart’s home office which brought us here to Bentonville, Arkansas the beginning of August!! I really love it here. I just miss my friends and family.

- 9 months ago we found out we were having a baby! We were both excited and a little in shock.

-My pregnancy went pretty well for the most part I had no morning sickness but I would get sick if I didn’t eat every so often and I had lots of heartburn.

-38 weeks and 1 day later we had our precious baby boy who weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and was 19 inches long
